Originally from Chicago and Minneapolis, Nina Esch moved to Vail, Colorado seven years ago after completing her Bachelors’ of Music Education degree in Instrumental Music Education with an emphasis in violin performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

While in attendance, Nina studied under the direction of Dr. Louis Bergonzi, Sherban Lupu and Dr. Özgül Gök as well as professionally performed as the section leader of the University of Illinois Symphony, Philharmonic Orchestra, Kankakee Valley Symphony Orchestra, Eastern Illinois University Symphony Orchestra and UI Philharmonic Orchestra.

Nina has performed professionally throughout North America and Eastern Europe. Currently, she serves as the Music Director for the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus’ Orchestra, Melomania, and also serves as Director of Bands and Orchestras at McAuliffe International School in Park Hill as well as a Satellite Specialist with the Colorado Honor Band.
